Creating your own hand drum is a deeply spiritual and transformative experience, an opportunity to weave your prayers, intentions, and energy into a sacred instrument that can accompany you in ceremony, healing, song, and connection to the heartbeat of the Earth. Join Jassy on November 21, 2026, from 1:00–8:00 PM in Frazier Park for an intimate, immersive drum-making experience where you will be guided through the process of bringing your own hand drum to life with mindfulness, intention, and reverence. Together, we will craft our drums, share food and community, allow time for the hides to dry, and close by blessing our creations and learning traditional songs. Participants will choose their own 14” or 18” deer or buffalo hide drum kit, which Jassy will order and prepare in advance so the hide can be properly soaked before the gathering. The workshop fee includes mentorship and guidance, dinner and snacks, and ceremonial materials such as wood, coals, sage, and other smoke-cleansing supplies. Drum and beater kits are purchased separately, bringing the estimated total investment to $325–$550, depending on the drum you select. This is more than a workshop, it is an intentional journey of creating a sacred ally with your own hands, carrying the energy, prayers, and heartbeat you place within it. Space is limited to 15 participants, and interest must be confirmed by October 25 to allow enough time for materials to arrive and be prepared.
